We got "egged" last night. We believe it was The Eric and Nina Youngberg family. I think what gave it away was one of Kurt's messages....."I like it when you bite my toes Kurt!" HAHA I was laughing so hard when Kurt read that message. Kurt used to bite Will's toes and Will would always freak out when Kurt came over....too funny. We got some Easter eggs filled with candy and very sweet messages. I posted some pictures of some of the sweet messages they wrote. What a cute idea....watch out someone might get egged next year :)

Loving on dad. Holden is still boycotting me putting him to bed at night...except when he doesn't have the option on the weekends. He loves his dad and its so cute.
Holdens new favorite thing....going upside down and flipping back. He loves it and could do it over and over and over if we let him.

Holden is still taking 2 naps a day. After his first nap he is usually in a pretty good mood. Its a whole other story after his second nap. He wakes up very crabby. I almost don't want to have him take a second nap because he will cry for a good 3o min to hour after he wakes up. So here he is right after he has woken up, and yes I'm the mom who takes pictures of her child crying instead of comforting for a second.

MUCH happier baby. I was finishing up washing the dinner dishes and I asked Holden if he wanted to take a bath, well he looked at me and crawled as fast as he could to the bathroom. He pulled himself up on the bath tub and started squealing with excitement. I love that he loves to take baths! It does make it difficult after hes been in the bath for 30 min to get him out without a tantrum.

Ok I know this first picture the colors are super off but Holden just looks too cute in the picture. He was in our room opening and shutting the door on me and thought he was hilarious. So I ran to grab my camera and the settings were set on manual so thats why it looks very bright and hes washed out.

Holden loves to push the chair around the house. Just walk already buddy! He has been walking a few steps here and there for WEEKS!

My 25th Birthday! It was Kurt's spring break so we were actually able to spend the whole day together which NEVER happens. So here is how my birthday went

-Kurt woke up with Holden and let me sleep in :)
-Went to breakfast at Ruth's diner and had their delicious biscuits
-Kurt got me a spa package...so I was able to get a massage and it was heavenly!
-Came home and while I was getting my massage Kurt called a plummer to fix our horrible draining tub and sink....finally!
-Kurt got me flowers and a sweet card
-Ran some errands with the family
-Went to Wing Coop for $.50 wing night...so we split 25 wings between us haha :)
-Came home and put Holden to bed
-Kurt went and got us Maggie Moo's and apparently they knew it was my birthday because they had my favoite flavors, pistacho and amaretto...so good!
-Watched District 9 and I fell asleep within 10 minutes of it starting

Holden has been such a daddy's boy the past few days. He will only let Kurt put him to bed, its pretty cute...but I miss putting him to bed! It's been our routine that I put him down, but apparently Holden is having it his way these days!

What a beautiful day! I am loving the warm weather and I think Holden is too. We walked around outside with his lion and just sat on the grass. It was just nice to be outside and not have to be bundled up. Holden also discovered his love for putting rocks and wood chips in his mouth!

We also want to say Happy Birthday to Grandma!

And Happy 40th Anniversary to Nana and Bapa!

We had a pretty mellow Saturday. Woke up ate delicious whole wheat pancakes, went shopping, got some more things for his birthday party, and finished up his easter basket. Now I just need to finish Kurt's easter basket! So I didn't get to take any pictures till bedtime so here Holden is playing before bed!

It was beautiful outside so I took Holden out to practice walking with his lion. He walked to the end of the street and then on the way back got a little mad at me...as you can see in the second picture! Marlee (the little girl in the pic) lives next door and is about 8 months older than Holden. I'm hoping she will be a good influence on him to start walking!

We had a fun day filled with looking at houses with Kristin (shes looking to buy a house in SLC..yay!!) and dinner at Kerri and Dave's house with Eric and Nina and Nana and Bapa. We got to hang out with Nana and Bapa before they went back to California. So when we got home Holden was ready for bed immediately.

Notice a trend? He likes to stand and watch TV...probably bad for his eyes but I think he's already doomed. I have horrible vision and Kurt has cataracts (sp??). So Holden stand as close to the TV as you want!

Nana and Bapa came to Utah for a weekend ski trip so they stopped by on their way from the airport to Park City. Holden was loving them both, but especially Bapa.

Later on it was a beautiful day outside so Kurt took the Christmas lights down (finally!!) and Holden and I were watching him.

Holden has started walking! Yes its just steps here and there, but he is definitely trying a lot more. I love the look of determination on his face. And he always has his hands in the air, I'm pretty sure its to balance himself.

Ok these are out of order, but its not letting me cut and paste! We were able to go on a date night on Tuesday so we went to Trio. It was delicious and MUCH needed :)
Here Holden is earlier in the day when he decided to get into the cupboard, open the instant coffee and spill it all over the floor. Luckily, I was vacuuming at the time I was quickly able to vacuum it up. But he decided to then lick his hands, so he's had his first experience with coffee at the age of 11 months!
