11.13-11.24

i
11/13- I love watching and  feeling the love between these 2 brothers.
11/14--It has started getting dark here at 4:30 and we've been told in December it can get dark by 3:30. Thank goodness we will be in Southern California for 2 weeks in December!
11/15--Snapshot of me and Wes courtesy of Holden.  I had just finished cleaning up Jariki's throw up.
11/16- Oh the joys of living in an apartment when your dog has diarrhea.  She pooped 8 seperate times.  We rented a steam cleaner because it was so disgusting.

11/17-Snuggling and snoozing in the morning
11/18- Holden has been practicing writing his name a lot.  He was given a worksheet from his teacher so he completed it and got to pick a prize from the treasure box!
 11/19--Wes falling asleep on Dad.
11/20- Holden helped me in the kitchen making rolls.  I'm still trying to figure out how to make rolls! I won't give up....
11/21--Wes started reaching for his toys on his bouncer.  The other night, he reached for Kurt's hand, grabbed it, and stuck it in his mouth. :)
11/22- Getting better and better at tummy time.  He also loves looking at himself in the mirror.
 11/23--Holden doing his chores

11/24--Wes has his first cough/congestion sickness.  He was up most of the night and didn't nap a lot today.  So, when he falls asleep around 7:30 I let him keep on sleeping.  Poor guy...being sick is the worst.

10/30-11/12/13

I wasn't able to post last week because me and the little boys were in Utah and Kurt was in Idaho with the laptop.  So I'm posting 2 weeks worth of pictures

10/30--Holden has been patienty waitig to get picjed to bring "Special Bear" home from preschool.  He was the last to get picked and was ECSTATIC.   In preschool, when you get picked, you bring Special Bear home along with his bag and journal.  We took Special Bear with us everywhere..he made rice krispie pumpkins, carved pumpkins, ran errands, and even got to sleep with Holden.

10/31- Getting ready to trick or treat with Batman.  We went to the houses across the street from our apartment complex and we only saw 2 other trick or treaters.  Holden had a blast though running from house to house.  Since there were so few other kids, people were giving him handfuls :)

11/1- One of my favorite snacks these days.  Greek yogurt, granola, fruit & nut mixture, apples, and cinnamon.  SO good.

11/2- We made our way to Utah the day after Halloween.  It took us 2 days to get there because we stopped half way in Idaho Falls at a DISGUSTING motel.  Kurt and Holden slept for a few hours while I sat up straight in bed trying to not think about where we were.  But we finally made it and Aunt Kiki and Wes became fast friends.

11/3- The Green's finally got the meet Wes.

11/4- Holden introduced Skylanders to everyone :)

11/5- We listened to an orchestra concert that Josh and Sophies school put on.  Both Josh and Sophie are first chair :)

11/6- I just laid Wes down on the bean bag when he was being fussy and he fell right asleep.

11/7- So happy we got to visit with Kristin and Nita.  And we went down to Out N Back...I miss that place!

11/8- These boys love each other
11/9- Brittany and Janssen got to meet Wes and I got to meet their adorable puppy Bruce Wayne.

11/10- Hanging out on Sunday night after dinner.  We are  very blessed with amazing family on both sides.  I'm so glad we got to go to Utah and spend time with family and friends that we love and care about.

11/11- Driving back from Utah and didn't get any pictures..it was a "free day!"

11/12- Bath time and Wes LOVES it.  He kicks and kicks and splashes.  It is so adorable.

10/23-10/29

10/23--Holden loves dot-to-dot puzzles so I found him a whole book full of them.

10/24--Wes is NOT a binky boy but Holden sure loves trying to make him take one.  Wes was actually sucking on the binky as long as Holden was holding it for him :)

10/25--Holden absolutely ADORES his brother.  He loves holding him, kissing him hugging him, talking in a high pitch voice to him, and more recently...trying to carry him!  He actually does a really good job of carrying him very short distances with me right beside.

10/26--We created a reading log for Holden to accomplish.  If he reads 20 hours he gets a Skylander--which is a big deal in our house!  Holden helped me come up with other incentive ideas along the road to the Skylander.  At 5 hours he gets a new hot wheels car, at 10 hours he gets an extra hour of Skylanders, and at 15 hours he gets a new snowglobe (not sure why he chose that?).  Holden loves to read but the reading along gives us that extra push to read daily at least for 30 minutes.

10/27--Love these 3 boys of mine.  This picture was taken right after dinner.

10/28--Kurt and Holden had a daddy/son date and went to see "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2."  They got some treats before the movie and when they got home Holden handed me a laffy taffy.  I love that remembers me and how much I love laffy taffy :)  The 2nd picture was taken while the boys were at the movies, Wes and I were enjoying our quiet time together.  I was trying to get him to smile--but no such luck :)

10/29--Wes can put himself to sleep and I love it.  As I was cooking dinner tonight, he quietly dozed to sleep.  2nd picture--real life.  Puffy eyes and no makeup but celebrating our 2 month old!
