I am becoming quite the domestic diva. On Tuesday Kerri and I ventured into the world of canning. She bought 2 huge boxes of peaches and I had a measly bag of peaches I bought at the Farmers Market. Well after realizing her peaches were mealy and just plain gross we decided to make jam. I got 3 cans of sliced peaches out of my bag. And I believe she made somewhere around 25 jars of jam. It was quite the process and I'm not sure if it really saves any money, but we had a fun time hanging out and talking. I think we may try applesauce next....!
